  Have-A-Go Day: Alpaca Guild member Chris Seers will be sharing her knowledge of processing and spinning alpaca fibre. Show and tell, sales table, and afternoon tea and cake!

• June Workshop 2026

  Saturday 13th June, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Stanton St John Village hall

  Flax workshop: Flaxland will cover the preparation and spinning of flax as well as its history.

  This month we’re having a show & tell about the flax workshop that took place on 13th June. Guild member Angela will also be bringing some of her rigid heddle looms for members to have a go on....

  Have-A-Go Day: backstrap weaving with guild member Anne Hughes Have-a-go at weaving a narrow band using a backstrap setup. Show and tell, sales table, and afternoon tea and cake!

  Workshop: Indigo “Pay and Play” with guild members Helen Allen and Tamara Cartwright-Loebl.

• October Workshop 2026

  Saturday 10th October, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at Stanton St John Village hall

  Introduction to prehistoric textiles with Sally Pointer. Sally will weave her talk through the activities which include braided belts and cordage and the use of plant fibres, bone needles, foraged hackles, & flint knives.
