The annual Eynsham Carnival is one of the oldest of its kind in the county, having celebrated its 70th year in 2016. Main attractions include a parade, outside stalls and craft fair, arena acts, fun fair and the famous shirt race.
This month we’re having a show & tell about the flax workshop that took place on 13th June. Guild member Angela will also be bringing some of her rigid heddle looms for members to have a go on....
Have-A-Go Day: backstrap weaving with guild member Anne Hughes Have-a-go at weaving a narrow band using a backstrap setup. Show and tell, sales table, and afternoon tea and cake!

Guild meetings are held in Beckley Village Hall, Beckley OX3 9UZ.
Workshops are usually in Stanton St John Village Hall, OX33 1HD.
