Beautiful Cloth – Saori Weaving with Amanda Edney.

Amanda will be starting her talk at 11am.

SAORI weaving is weaving with no rules or restrictions. Weavers express themselves with complete freedom and creativity. SAORI weaving is about self-expression rather than technique. There is no forward planning involved, other than choosing the warp and yarns for the weft and then just weaving in the moment.

Amanda is also bringing 2 of her Saori looms for members to try out Saori Weaving. This will give anyone who would like to try this creative, free form style of weaving a chance to try it out and ask questions.
